We field a lot of calls and emails from people interested in "shortie", "Irish" or "Puddin" Jack russell terriers. Here is OUR stand: breeders who do not or cannot show, or hunt their terriers do a great dis-service to the breed they claim to admire, and the people they SELL puppies to. Conformation classes are designed to JUDGE the quality of breeding stock. You cannot be certain of a breeder's reputation, if the quality of their stock has not been proven. Breeding to breed is a dis-service to everyone, especially the great amount of jack russells in rescue and shelters all over the country.
We are a small kennel, devoted fully to this little terrier, and preserving it's unique character and history. Don't let their sweet little faces fool you! They are hunting dogs through and through, but that doesn't mean they aren't great pets!
We strive to produce a terrier that is just as comfortable on the couch watching the game, as hunting it. We focus on temperment, ability, and beauty, in that order. We breed just a few well thought out litters a year.
We look at pedigree after pedigree, and spend a great deal of time researching these little dogs in order to produce the best dogs possible. Don't be fooled by poor breeding with a pretty face! We are a registered kennel with the JRTCA, and abide fully by the BREEDER'S CODE OF ETHICS.
Please feel free to look around, and contact us with any questions you may have, I can talk dog all day!
Please read over our breed information. getting a dog is a 15 plus year commitment, not to be taken lightly. I love these little dogs, but they aren't for everyone, no breed is. Please do your homework before buying a puppy, not just ours, but any breed of dog.
